About the Project

Calgary youth development organization Two Wheel View uses the bicycle as a tool to build resiliency in over 800 young people each year. With a full build-out of their new office and workshop out of reach for this non-profit group, they turned to DIRTT for a collaboration. By re-purposing former DIRTT project mock-ups and office spaces, we were able to help Two Wheel View create the space they need to expand their community-based programs and bike trips.

The former ICE headquarters became private office space and workstations. A residential mock-up provided Two Wheel View with washrooms and a complete kitchen. Over 500 hours of DIRTT volunteer time made the installation a success.

As Two Wheel View’s founder Rick McFerrin put it, “We wouldn’t have been able to get this space without DIRTT. We’re so happy with the new shop!”.
